Less than two weeks until the marathon. I'm healthy, I've had good runs, and I'm winding things down at work, so the timing is right. Bonus is the time change marathon weekend, giving me an extra hour of sleeeeeeeep. Taking Monday off to chill and get a long-overdue pedi, barring losing a toenail, not completely out of the question. Maybe that falls under the TMI category?
I was oddly unsettled at the thought of my Chicago ex running, even though I know he'd be a good hour and a half ahead of me, so was a bit relieved when I saw he had dropped out today. He offered to meet me for drinks, but I just don't even want to see him. That's one of those that's going to stick with me a long time, and I just need to keep my distance.
Good run today, short but strong 3.5. Treadmill at the hotel (ick) but better than nothing.
